Cesare's Fury is a deceptively simple 3-day event that combines alliance coordination with individual progression. If you are unaware of its hidden mechanics, you risk falling into a severe "stamina trap" and missing out on crucial rewards, such as Mythic Hero fragments. Here is how to fully optimize your approach to this event.
1. Difficulty Progression (The 50 Stages)
To maximize your rewards, your primary objective should be completing all 50 stages of the individual event track.
- Unlocking Tiers: During your first participation, only the Easy mode is available. Completing all 50 stages on Easy will unlock the Normal difficulty for the event's next appearance, significantly increasing your overall resource gains.
- Pacing Your Marches: While it might be tempting to rush through all stages on launch day, it is unnecessary. It is far more efficient to spread your attacks across the full 3-day window, as overlapping concurrent events may offer a better return on your stamina reserves.
2. Conserving Stamina with Diana
Searching the world map for a Cesare costs an initial 15 stamina to spawn the target, followed by an additional stamina cost to launch the actual attack.
The Diana Trick: Always assign Diana to lead your march or rally. Her specific skills reduce the stamina cost of attacking by up to 20% (note that this discount applies only to the attack itself, not the initial 15 stamina required for map detection).
3. Defeating Higher-Level Cesares in Solo Play
The game will frequently warn you that your power is insufficient to defeat a high-level Cesare, heavily nudging you toward launching a costly alliance rally. However, you should attempt to solo march these targets as much as possible.
- 100% Stamina Refunds: If your solo attack fails and your troops are defeated, the game refunds the entirety of the stamina spent on the attack. This allows you to attempt seemingly impossible fights with absolute zero risk to your resources.
- Forcing the RNG (Random Number Generation): You can defeat Cesares with recommended power levels far exceeding your own by utilizing heroes with powerful probability-based skills, such as Jabel (who has a chance to reduce incoming damage) or Zoey (who has a chance to massively amplify damage). By repeatedly retrying the battle without stamina penalties, you will eventually land a "perfect roll" where their skills trigger continuously (sometimes 30 to 35 times in a single fight). This grants you an unexpected victory and saves you the trouble of coordinating rallies for every target.
4. Optimizing "Cesare's Accords"
At the beginning of the event, you receive 5 Cesare's Accords. These are assist items specifically designed to help you bypass individual stages that you simply cannot defeat, even with a full rally.
- No Reward Penalties: If you use an Accord to have an ally defeat the Cesare for you, your personal rewards remain entirely unaffected. Whether you join the ally's rally or skip it entirely, you will receive the exact same completion loot as if you had struck the final blow yourself.
- Bonus Loot for Helpers: If you are the stronger player defeating a Cesare for an alliance member who used an Accord, you will receive highly valuable bonus rewards for the first 7 times you provide assistance. Always keep an eye out to help your alliance mates!
