Rally Leader: OFFENSE (Attack Captain)
Goal: Maximize damage to pierce the enemy castle. Look for high stats (Mythic/Gold) and skills focused on lethality and attack.
| Tier | Heroes | Strategic Analysis |
|---|---|---|
| S | Amadeus | He is the undisputed king of attack in Gen 1. His skills deal heavy damage, and he possesses an excellent offensive rally widget. |
| A | Helga, Chenko | Helga: A great alternative to Amadeus (often easier to max early on thanks to VIP packs). Chenko: The best Epic (Purple) hero for leading an attack thanks to her AoE damage and lethality boost, ideal for F2P or low spenders who lack well-built mythics. |
| B | Jabel, Saul | Their Mythic (Gold) hero stats are excellent, allowing them to hit hard, but their skills and widgets are unfortunately designed for defense. |
| C (Avoid) | Howard, Gordon | These are pure tanks. Leading an attack with them will significantly reduce your striking power, resulting in fewer enemy casualties. |
Rally Leader: DEFENSE (Garrison Captain)
Goal: Protect the building or castle. Look for infantry heroes, defensive stats (Health, Defense, Damage Reduction), and ideally Garrison widgets.
| Tier | Heroes | Strategic Analysis |
|---|---|---|
| S | Jabel, Saul | These are your best walls in Gen 1. As Mythic heroes, they have huge base stats to absorb damage, and both possess powerful Garrison widgets. |
| A | Howard | He is the "classic tank" par excellence. He specializes in damage mitigation and has perfect skills to lead defensive rallies. He is the absolute best F2P choice to hold a garrison in Gen 1. |
| B | Gordon | A support tank focused on Health. He greatly helps your frontline infantry survive the onslaught. |
| C (Avoid) | Amadeus, Chenko | They have absolutely no capabilities to reduce incoming damage. Defending a castle with them will cause massive losses among your own troops. |
Rally Joiner: OFFENSE (To assist an attack)
Golden Rule: Only your first skill counts! You must bring enough utility to kill more enemy troops.
| Tier | Heroes | Strategic Analysis |
|---|---|---|
| S (Lethals) | Amadeus, Chenko, Yeonwoo | If placed first, they provide a colossal +25% Lethality bonus. This is by far the best offensive buff in Gen 1. |
| A | Amane | Her first skill provides +25% Attack (DamageUp). It is excellent because this bonus multiplies perfectly with the Lethality of Tier S heroes. |
| B | Quinn | Quinn brings a small damage boost, which is "ok" if you have absolutely no Tier S or A heroes available, but she falls far behind. |
| C (Avoid) | Howard, Gordon, Jabel | Their first skills are entirely defensive. By sending them into an attack rally, you block a potential offensive buff that the rally leader desperately needs. |
Rally Joiner: DEFENSE (To assist a garrison)
Goal: When sending troops to defend an ally's castle, you want them to bring healing or resistance to hold the wall.
| Tier | Heroes | Strategic Analysis |
|---|---|---|
| S | Howard | God of Survival: In Gen 1, he is the absolute king of defensive Joiners. His first skill massively increases troop health and provides a heal. Filling a garrison with Howard as the first hero makes the castle extremely resilient. |
| A | Gordon, Jabel | Gordon: Brings highly effective damage reduction and health support mechanics. Jabel: Offers a raw damage reduction/defense buff that helps greatly to absorb the shock. |
| B | Saul | He brings a solid defensive bonus—slightly more situational, but still very useful for protecting troops. |
| C (Avoid) | Chenko, Yeonwoo, Amane | They do not protect the garrison. While they might inflict a little more damage to the attacker, the main goal of the garrison is not to fall. These heroines do not contribute to your survival. |
