Waiting for your march to walk back after a grueling battle is a massive waste of time. In high-stakes KvK fights, seconds determine who controls the structure and who goes home empty-handed. Let’s look at a hidden combat mechanic that completely bypasses return march timers, instantly teleporting your strongest heroes back to your city to chain multiple rallies back-to-back.

Introduction

Normally, when your rally finishes an attack on a structure or a target, your troops and heroes must physically march back to your town before you can deploy them again. If the target is far away across the KvK map, you are stuck waiting.

The underlying trick relies on how the game handles injured troops. When a march has all of its active troops injured or eliminated, the march instantly dissolves. Because there is no longer a physical march out in the field, the game instantly teleports your heroes back to your town along with the injured units to the infirmary.

By applying this specific edge case to rally structures, you can disconnect your return hero timers from the battle outcome entirely.

The "One-Troop" Rally Setup

When you launch a rally in Kingshot, you as the rally leader provide your hero gear, stats, and total rally capacity. The joining alliance members fill that capacity with their own troops, inheriting your massive stat bonuses.

To execute the instant return teleportation trick, follow this exact setup:

  • The Leader Allocation: When launching the rally, manually slide your troop selection down to send exactly one single troop unit (preferably a single Infantry unit, as it is highly likely to take damage first and fall in battle).
  • The Alliance Fill: Your alliance members must fill the rest of the rally capacity with their full marches.
  • The Result: When the rally hits the target, that single troop you sent is instantly injured. Because your personal troop count in that march drops to zero, your heroes are instantly removed from the field and teleported back to your city the exact millisecond the battle finishes.

Practical Applications for KvK and PvE

This advanced trick creates a massive competitive advantage in both PvP and intense PvE events.

1. Maximizing Castle and Turret Battles (PvP)

During intense KvK Castle Battles, cutting down the occupation time of an enemy is critical. By using this trick, your alliance's strongest players ("whales") can launch an aggressive rally, fight, and have their best heroes instantly back in their town to launch a second, subsequent waterfall rally immediately—all while their allies' troops are still slowly walking back from the first fight.

⚠️ Critical Warning: If you win the battle using this method, your heroes will still teleport back instantly, meaning you will not remain behind to captain the garrison. Ensure you have a designated second player in the rally ready to step up as the garrison captain, or use this specifically for clearing out heavy enemy garrisons via waterfall rallies.

2. Accelerating Beast Slay Events (PvE)

If you are pushing for a high score near the end of a competitive stamina-burning event, you can cycle through marches at lightning speed. By launching multiple rallies with only one infantry troop and letting your guild fill them up, your march capacity frees up instantly upon impact, allowing you to chain constant rallies without waiting for long return trips.
