The arrival of Generation 6 completely disrupts the Captains (Leaders) meta with the introduction of Yang, who establishes herself as the absolute new hero for exploding scores. Meanwhile, the Generation 1 "Joiners" remain the undisputed kings of the rally.

If you want to maximize your alliance's damage, here is the detailed Bear Trap tier list combining Generation 1 through Generation 6 heroes!

The Yang Revolution

Generation 6 brings a massive power spike to the captain's chair. The introduction of Yang—with her marksman specialization and offensive lethality widget—allows alliances to instantly elevate their Bear Trap damage ceiling by up to 30%. However, while the leader meta undergoes a massive shift, the reinforcement rules for rally joiners remain fiercely anchored in Generation 1 flat lethality buffs.

👑 Tier List: Rally Leaders (Captains) – Gen 1 to Gen 6

Tier Heroes Strategic Analysis
S Yang, Rosa, Amadeus, Margot Yang (Gen 6): She is the absolute must-have new marksman/archer. Featuring a 15% Offensive Lethality widget and fantastic synergy, replacing your old archer captain with Yang yields immediate score gains of 25% to 30% on the Bear Hunt!
Rosa (Gen 4): Remains an excellent choice, especially when paired in a duo with Yang for ultra-aggressive, archer-based compositions.
Amadeus (Gen 1): He is absolutely unkillable as an infantry captain, continuing to dominate because he retains three pure damage-dealing skills.
Margot (Gen 4): Still a phenomenal choice for maximizing archer damage output.
A Thrud, Petra, Helga These heroes remain very strong choices for leading mixed rallies (Infantry/Archers or Cavalry/Archers). They will reliably buff your alliance's damage if you do not yet have the optimal Tier S composition.
B Zoe, Jabel These two are consistently the best choices for Free-to-Play (F2P) players who do not have access to maxed-out recent heroes.
C / Trash Sophia, Triton, Vivian, Long Fei, Alcar Sophia (Gen 6): A huge disappointment for this specific event. She possesses the wrong type of widget and only a single damage-dealing skill. She does not replace Petra or Thrud.
Triton (Gen 6): The new Gen 6 infantry hero is purely focused on defense. Since the Bear does not attack back, Triton will absolutely not help you in this game mode.
Vivian, Long Fei, Alcar: Defensive kits that offer zero value here.

đŸ€ Tier List: Rally Joiners (Reinforcements) – Gen 1 to Gen 6

Mechanic Reminder: As a "Joiner" in a rally, only the very first skill (top right) of your first hero applies to the march.

Tier Heroes Strategic Analysis
S Amadeus, Chenko, Yeonwoo Flat Lethality. There is still zero evolution here, even at Gen 6! When placed in the primary position of your march, they provide the absolute maximum flat buff of +25% Lethality. This is the single most powerful way to help your alliance.
A Thrud, Margot, Amane Stackable Attack Buffs. These heroes bring excellent and constant damage/attack bonuses (ranging from 15% to 25%). These stats stack perfectly (multiplicatively) with the Lethality buffs provided by the Tier S heroes..
B Yang, Rosa, Petra, Marlin The RNG Factor. While Yang is exceptional as a leader, her skill as a Joiner (just like Rosa or Petra) depends on a probability percentage to trigger. These heroes are good, but mathematically less stable over the duration of the attack compared to the constant buffs of Tiers S and A.
Trash Triton, Sophia, Long Fei, Alcar, Eric Do Not Use. All of these heroes have a primary expedition skill focused on defense, armor, or damage reduction. Because the Bear deals zero damage, these skills serve strictly no purpose. Placing one of these heroes in your first slot will actively tank your team's total score.

Strategic Takeaways

  • Rally Leader Swap: Make the switch to Yang as soon as she is available to lead your archer-focused marches.
  • Stacking Damage: Pair S-tier lethality joiners with A-tier attack buffers to achieve optimal multiplicative damage scaling in rallies.
