The arrival of Generation 7 completely shakes up the top of the captain hierarchy with Ava, who establishes herself as the absolute new standard. Meanwhile, the duo Wee & Woo becomes a top-tier option for joining rallies.

If you want to maximize your alliance's damage, here is the detailed Bear Trap tier list combining heroes from Generation 1 all the way to Generation 7!

The Ava & Wee/Woo Meta

Generation 7 brings colossal base stats and meta-defining widgets to the field. While Ava takes over as the premier captain due to her raw offensive expedition skills, the cavalry duo Wee & Woo establishes themselves as the new gold standard for rally reinforcements. Let's break down where the heroes fall in the Gen 7 Bear Trap meta.

👑 Tier List: Rally Leaders (Captains) – Gen 1 to Gen 7

Tier Heroes Strategic Analysis
S Ava, Yang, Rosa, Amadeus Ava (Gen 7): She is the "new Amadeus for the Bear." She arrives with an offensive widget, and crucially, all three of her expedition skills directly increase your damage. She is the undisputed new queen of leading rallies.
Yang (Gen 6): Remains exceptional for archer-based strategies thanks to her Offensive Lethality widget.
Rosa (Gen 4) & Amadeus (Gen 1): These two complete the S-tier. Amadeus still stands as an excellent infantry leader if you have not yet unlocked or maxed out Ava.
A Wee & Woo, Thrud, Petra Wee & Woo (Gen 7): They possess a defensive widget that penalizes them slightly when leading a rally compared to Ava, but their raw Gen 7 base stats remain colossal.
Thrud (Gen 5) & Petra (Gen 3): Both remain highly reliable alternatives for buffing mixed attacks (Infantry/Archers and Cavalry/Archers, respectively).
B Zoe, Jabel These heroes remain the absolute best fallback options for Free-to-Play (F2P) players who do not have access to the more recent, high-generation heroes.
C / Trash Charles, Sophia, Triton, Alcar Charles (Gen 7): His profile does not suit this event at all, as he is primarily designed to lead defensive rallies.
Sophia (Gen 6), Triton (Gen 6), & Alcar (Gen 4): Just like Charles, their defensive skills provide absolutely no value against the Bear, which does not retaliate. Do not use them as leaders here.

🤝 Tier List: Rally Joiners (Reinforcements) – Gen 1 to Gen 7

Mechanic Reminder: As a "Joiner" in a rally, only the very first skill (top right) of your first hero applies to buff the march.

Tier Heroes Strategic Analysis
S Amadeus, Chenko, Yeonwoo Flat Lethality. Even at Gen 7, there is absolutely no evolution here! When placed in the primary position of your march, they provide the absolute maximum flat buff of +25% Lethality. This remains the single most powerful stat for maximizing your alliance's score.
A Wee & Woo, Margot, Amane, Thrud Wee & Woo (Gen 7): They shine particularly brightly in this role. Their primary expedition skill makes them absolutely fantastic "Joiners" for boosting overall alliance damage.
Margot (Gen 4), Amane, & Thrud (Gen 5): These heroes bring excellent constant damage bonuses that stack perfectly with the Lethality provided by the Tier S heroes.
B Yang, Rosa, Petra, Marlin The RNG Factor. Their skills rely on a probability percentage to trigger. These heroes are good, but mathematically less stable and efficient over the duration of the attack compared to the constant buffs found in Tiers S and A.
Trash Charles, Triton, Long Fei, Eric Useless for the Bear. All of these heroes (including the newly released Gen 7 Charles) feature a first skill completely focused on defense, armor, or damage reduction. Because the Bear deals zero damage, placing one of these heroes in your first slot will actively tank your alliance's total score.

Strategic Takeaways

  • Rally Leader Standard: Mobilize Ava as your lead captain to take advantage of her raw stat multipliers and triple-damage skills.
  • Reinforcement Optimization: Prioritize sending Wee & Woo as joiners behind your flat lethality captains to achieve the absolute maximum damage spike.
